At the beginning of each term, students are issued with their own copy of our textbook.
Each lesson starts with a 10 minutes quiz to reinforce content from the prior week.
Class notes are delivered using computer projector and whiteboard; this allows the teacher to promote class discussions, to diagnose and address student misconceptions, and to elaborate on more challenging concepts and skills.
Our weekly homework questions are selected from a variety of resources accumulated by Mr Zhang in the past 30 years of teaching.
Learning Flexibility
Up to 7 repeating classes each week for our senior science subjects. Students have the flexibility of choosing between different classes every week, where they will be taught by different teachers allowing a match between teaching and learning styles.
Extension Class
All students at Zhang's can access a live interactive online call via Zoom to discuss any questions with a tutor.
Students are encouraged to seek help from their class teacher for their school assessment tasks and the Centre will also provide resources for our students.
1. A link to the Youtube livestream will be sent to your student email on our system 15 minutes before the start of each lesson
2. Click on the link to join the livestream. Once you have entered, type your full name into the live chat box for attendance. Parents will be notified of any absences.
3. If you have any questions for your teacher relevant to the lesson, type them into the live chat box.
Replay Lessons
If you have missed all live teaching lessons in the week, or would like to watch the week's lesson again; we have Replay Lessons available at 2pm on Saturday each week. To get access, select "Replay Lesson" on the makeup request form for your requested subject.
