I believe learning involves having a fundamental knowledge of key concepts. Teaching should guide students through a strong scientific basis to foster a curiosity and interest in approaching more complex ideas. Students who gain holistic understanding can break down any question intuitively to tackle any exam.

Mr Sun

Chemisty/Physics Teacher

5+ years of teaching experience

I strive to reframe complex ideas and concepts, viewing them from a new perspective to ultimately help students understand these ideas intuitively whilst also developing their critical think-ing skills. To me, science is not simply the memorisation of knowledge, but the application and exposure to new ideas which deepen our understanding of the wider world around us.

Mr Li

Junior Science Teacher
Bachelor of Actuarial Studies/Computer Science at UNSW

Top 5 Overall at Caringbah High School (2022)

My teaching style aims to build a strong understanding of fundamental scientific concepts so students can further excel in HSC. This is achieved through using analogies and real-life applications to reinforce students’ understanding, whilst also encouraging students to contribute to classroom discussions. Through this, I hope to motivate student growth and confidence in tackling questions, leading to an overall fun and fulfilling classroom experience.

Ms Xu

Mr Kim

Chemistry Teacher
Bachelor of Commerce and Law at USYD

ATAR 99.80
98 in HSC Chemistry- State Rank 13th in NSW (2023)

My teaching style is that I prioritise the fundamental principles and key ideas, which allows students to move beyond rote learning and cultivate a deep conceptual understanding in Chemistry. This is complemented by a diverse set of exam style questions and supplementary materials, empowering students to build confidence in applying their skills effectively during examinations. I also believe that gaining knowledge is only half of the answer to attaining success in exams, with the other half being efficient study techniques, which I ensure to teach to my students.
