My teaching style aims to prepare students with not only a holistic understanding of the syllabus in a variety of contexts, but also the exam technique to confidently recontextualise their existing knowledge to address diverse exam content.

My teaching style is that I prioritise the fundamental principles and key ideas, which allows students to move beyond rote learning and cultivate a deep conceptual understanding in Chemistry. This is complemented by a diverse set of exam style questions and supplementary materials, empowering students to build confidence in applying their skills effectively during examinations. I also believe that gaining knowledge is only half of the answer to attaining success in exams, with the other half being efficient study techniques, which I ensure to teach to my students.
