1. New Enrolments
1.1. An obligation-free two-lesson trial
period when starting a new course for the first time.
1.2. This trial period is defined as two lessons from the student’s first lesson of the new course.
1.2.1. If the student chooses to continue
the course, the fees will include this two-lesson trial period.
1.2.2. If the student chooses to discontinue, they will not be charged for these lessons.
1.3. The obligation-free two-lesson trial
period is a onetime offer per student.
1.4. Textbooks and other learning resources will only be issued when payments are made in full.
1.5. Students are always expected to be on
their best behaviour.
1.5.1. We reserve the right to suspend or
terminate the enrolment of a student for any disrespectful behaviour and/or
behaviour that disrupts the learning of other students.
1.5.2. For any and all negative behaviour,
we will not offer credits or refunds for missed lessons.
1.6. A one-off registration fee of $80 (GST inclusive) applies at the time of enrolment.
1.7. Fees are due in full by the third week of enrolment.
1.8. Student will forfeit their obligation-free two-lesson trial period If any and all fees are paid.
1.9. Remaining term fees are calculated at
a pro-rata rate of the remaining lessons.
1.9.1. Pro-rata rate calculations will start
from first lesson attended.
1.9.2. Pro-rata rate calculations will
include the 2-lesson obligation-free trial period.
1.10. Any and All Payments is NOT refundable
and is NOT transferable.
1.11. All fees are GST inclusive.
1.12. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate the enrolment of a student whose fees are in arrears.
1.13. Inaccurate or incomplete information
being provided intentionally may result in the non-acceptance or delay of an enrolment.
1.14. If the chosen course/class enrolled is full, you will be placed in a wait list and will be notified when placement is available.
1.15. All students and parents/guardian jointly indemnify Zhang’s HSC Coaching against any and all Claims whatsoever, whether legal, equitable, under statue or otherwise, and all other liabilities
of any nature arising out of any breach of confidentiality by us or our students.
2. Fees Policy
2.1. Term fees for the following term are
due in full by the start of the term.
2.2. Early bird discount applies to fees paid in full by the Early Bird Due Date.
2.3. Any and All Payments are NOT refundable and are NOT transferable.
2.4. All fees are GST inclusive.
2.5. Textbooks and other learning resources will only be issued after term fees are paid in full.
2.6. Enrolment is not guaranteed unless
term fee is paid in full before lesson commencement.
2.7. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate the enrolment of a student whose fees are in arrears.
2.8. We reserve the right to change the value
of all and any discounts at any time.
2.9. We reserve the right to change the cost of Fees charged at any time.
3. Attendance
3.1. Students are expected to attend all
the lessons in which they are enrolled.
3.2. We do not offer credits or refunds for any missed lessons.
3.3. If any student is unable to attend their scheduled lesson, we need to be notified by our makeup form or by SMS text or email in advance to arrange for possible makeup lesson.
3.4. Students are required to attend a makeup lesson or online Study Support.
3.5. If a lesson is postponed or changes
made due to an event (eg.teacher’s illness) the postponed lesson will be rescheduled to a later date, or a substitute teacher may take the lesson.
3.6. If your given resources are misplaced, you may request for a replacement which will incur a small fee.
3.7. Students are always expected to be on
their best behaviour.
3.7.1. We reserve the right to suspend or
terminate the enrolment of a student for any disrespectful behaviour and/or
behaviour that disrupts the learning of other students.
3.7.2. For any and all negative behaviour,
we will not offer credits or refunds for missed lessons.
4. Homework
4.1. Students' weekly homework will be
collected, marked, and returned to them in the following week.
4.2. Weekly homework submission is compulsory.
4.3. Students who consistently failing to
submit homework will receive warnings and notification to submit homework.
4.4. Zhang’s HSC Coaching reserves the
right to terminate a student’s enrolment if their commitment to the program is found lacking.
5. Privacy
5.1. Zhang’s HSC Coaching requests that
its students provide school exam results, HSC results, photographs and ATAR by
SMS text or email.
5.2. Zhang’s HSC Coaching reserves the
right to advertise names, results and photographs for promotional purposes.
5.3. Each student attending the Zhang’s
HSC coaching is required to submit personal details which are kept confidential.
5.4. Any changes to this information must
be updated as soon as possible.
5.5. Inaccurate or incomplete information
being provided intentionally may result in the non-acceptance of an enrolment
or cancellation of an existing enrolment.
5.6 Security cameras operate within all Zhang's HSC Center's. Entrants acknowledge that they may be filmed.
5.7. We will not disclose a student's information unless the disclosure is:
5.7.1. Required by the law.
5.7.2. Authorised by the law.
6. Liability
6.1. All students and parents/guardian jointly indemnify Zhang’s HSC Coaching against any and all Claims whatsoever, whether legal, equitable, under statue or otherwise, and all other liabilities of any nature arising out of any breach of confidentiality by us or our students.
7. Refunds
7.1. We will not offer credits or refunds for missed lessons.
7.2. Any and All Payments are NOT refundable and are NOT transferable.
7.3. In the case of extenuating circumstances, Refund approval will be decided by management/Mr Zhang at their discretion.
7.3.1. The refund will be calculated at a
pro-rata rate of the remaining lessons minus one lesson.
